Bridal
shower invitations can be casual or
formal.
Invitations should be sent out three
to four weeks in advance (earlier if
guests are coming from out-of-town).
Before you get down to ordering your
invitations, write a draft of your invitation
wording.
Always include the name of the bride,
the address, date, start and end time.
The invitation should also include the
name of the hostess(es) and a phone
number and deadline date for the RSVP.
Any special theme, dress attire or gift
information should also be included.
The invitations should only be sent
to guests who are invited to the wedding.
Either include response cards in with
each invitation or include a phone number
and deadline date for the RSVP on the
invitation.
Note: When you insist upon a telephone
RSVP, you can keep an accurate guest
count and also answer any of the guests'
questions.
